Jubilee Credit Vista Improvements
New One-Time-Passcode will make authentication swift and easy
Our JCV product has been a great success and we believe it’s the best way to order integrated credit reports with Jubilee (and BankruptcyPRO). The one minor difficulty we’ve seen with the product involves times where the debtor does not answer the knowledge-based authentication questions correctly several times in a row and then gets locked out for 48 hours or more. This lockout is controlled by the credit bureaus, and we have no control over how long they keep the lock out in place.
To help reduce the chances of this happening we now have the ability to use one-time-passcodes via the debtor’s telephone number. This is a new feature the bureaus are rolling out and since it will eliminate the KBA questions when successful, we believe it will all but eliminate the lockout issues that sometimes occur.
We have more improvements coming with JCV and, if you haven’t tried it out yet, this is a great time to get started. Learn more about JubileeCreditVista here.
New Option to Automatically Pay Filing Fees in Jubilee
Jubilee can now pay your filing fees automatically (but not financially). If you have a credit card saved in your CM/ECF Login, Jubilee can use that credit card to pay your filing fees when you file a case. Note, you’ll have to check the box to cause that to happen as it will not be checked by default. (We are working to make this a firm setting to be checked automatically for you - coming soon!)
So, while the payment is still not free, it is easier than having to log back into your CM/ECF account to pay.
We hope this helps streamline the filing process even more.
Student Loan Webinar
The student loan payments are restarting this summer and bankruptcy firms will need to handle clients who also have student loan debt. Jubilee is hosting a webinar titled “Adding Student Debt Services to your Firm” on June 28th, at 1PM CT. This webinar will explain the student loan payment restart and introduce you to Student Debt solutions, an application that allows you to provide student debt services to your clients without needing to be an expert. We will also have a bankruptcy attorney describe how she has created a student debt service in her bankruptcy practice.
